We were treated to a lovely video of our 3rd class pupil playing the drums yesterday!! What a talent 👏👏🎶🎶  Ag Siopadóireacht - Ról Imirt 🍞🍰 Role play in Junior and Senior infants - shopping. Well done to our two students who both had success at the Clerihan Community Games athletics evening earlier this week. We are very proud of you both 👏👏🎉🏃🏃  Today we welcomed Eabha, Ellie and Ava All Ireland Camogie champions with Tipperary 🔵🟡 these girls are such an inspiration to all our young players 👏🎉👏 🏟️🏉 what a day we had last week with @jsheehan98 and @munsterrugby for a fantastic tag rugby blitz! Our students had the best fun and enjoyed meeting some Munster rugby stars too ! Thank you Joe for the invite 👏🏉🏟️ ⚽️⚽️⚽️Active School and Active Students ! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️well done to all our girls for great achievements in running in an athletics competition in Templemore at the weekend and also in soccer with Killenaule fc!! Keep up the amazing work girls ⚽️🏃🏻♀️👏👏 This week we were very lucky to have some of our wonderful students share their musical talents with us 🎶🎼🎵🎹🎤🎸 the future is bright 🤩🤩🤩 The sun was shining today at Lisronagh NS so we finally got to have our picnic that we had planned for Wellbeing Day outside!! 🎉☀️😎 We also enjoyed listening to music that was chosen by our Amber Flag committee 🎶🎶 More success for these great boys and congratulations to them on winning the South County Football D championship with @moylerovers 🔵🔴 What an achievement with their club. 👏👏👏  Well done to these great boys for helping us out with some planting today! A special thank you to Ms Perry too ! 🌸🌼🌺 Experimenting with static electricity in 1st and 2nd Class. 🤩 We love to hear our students are participating in extra curricular activities outside of school. We encourage the children to share their achievements with the school and even put their photos up on our Active School Board. Here are some children who had some recent success in rugby, horse riding and dance. Well done to you all!! We were thrilled to see our Senior Infant student arriving to school today with three medals following her success at a Para Athletics competition in Carlow at the weekend!!! She even got two PB's!!! Well done, we are all so proud of you!  The children in Lisronagh NS held 'Wellbeing Day' on the 2nd of May 2024 as a fundraising event for Pieta House. The children wore bright colourful clothes and enjoyed various different well-being activities on the day like yoga sessions with Brenda from Blossom Yoga, mindfulness colouring, circle time activities, art lesson - inner and outer self portraits, guided meditation and lessons on having a 'Growth Mindset' as well as the magic of the word 'Yet!' . Thank you to everyone who donated. We raised €205!! :)
