5th and 6th Class created some lovely water colour artwork for Earth Day.  Congratulations to all our winners of this month’s Principal’s Award 🎉🎉🎉 all our winners this month were nominated by our students for being kind to others in our school. We are so proud of you all ❤️👏👏❤️  Junior and Senior infants have been learning different ways we can take care of our planet ahead of World Earth Day which will be celebrated around the world next Monday. The children were very excited to receive a 'Let' s Grow' pack from SuperValu. We used our mud kitchen and got to work planting our peas, French beans, cress and sunflower seeds. We are looking forward to caring for our plants and watching them grow 🌻🌱 GAA training started back again today after the Easter break. 🎉 Thanks to Martin for a very fun training session 👏👏 Thanks to Rob from LearnIt.ie who delivered an exciting Lego workshop to Junior and Senior infants today. The children were asked to create something they may find at an amusement park. 🤩I think you'll agree from looking at their creations we have some budding engineers at Lisronagh NS. Best of all we get to keep all these new Lego kits at school for future learning 🎉🎉 We started our Lego STEM workshops today with @LearnIT as part of our STEM grant.. it was super engaging and super fun 🤩 1st and 2nd Class had an 'eggciting' week with Marshmallow, Digestive, Bruno and Cookie. 🐣🐤🐥💞🎉 Congratulations to our 4th class pupil who came in 3rd place in the U12 Freestyle Community Games Competition recently! Well done, we are very proud of you!!  The Easter bunny dropped some clues and eggs today at Lisronagh NS 🐰🐇🎉 each of the classes enjoyed going on an Easter egg hunt 🏃🏃🥳🎉 Thanks very much to the Parents' Association who delivered an Easter egg for each child in the school from the Easter Bunny. Happy Easter to all. 🐇🎉 3rd and 4th Class designed their dream bedroom in a shoe box. They put a lot of time and effort into this enjoyable art lesson. 🎨👏🎨 Some beautiful chicks knitted by Lucy Conway, one for each of her classmates. Each hiding a tasty treat! Great job Lucy! 🐥  We are holding our Easter raffle on Thursday in aid of Trocaire 💕we would really appreciate any donations of prizes and invite you to buy raffle tickets on Thursday for this great cause .. thanks for all your support 🙏🙏  |
