The infants were learning about life stages in Science this week. They cut out pictures themselves and then had to glue each picture in the correct order. They did a brilliant job!
Junior and Senior Infants have been having lots of fun in September learning about families, different types of homes, rooms in a house, body parts, feelings etc. At the construction table they had fun building different types of homes using lego, stickle bricks and building blocks. There was lots of excitement at the role play area as the children enjoyed playing with the kitchen and baby dolls. In the small world area they played with a doll house. They were also very busy at the creative area, where they explored using playdough and worked on cutting and gluing. Congratulations to our 4th class student who is the U10 Bob Sweeney Equine Champion. What a fantastic achievement! Well done!!
First and second class enjoyed bringing in items from when they were babies. Junior and Senior Infants have been enjoying getting to know one another. They have been developing their fine motor skills with some of these fun morning activities.
Congratulations to our senior infant student who won three gold medals for the discus, javelin and shot put in the U8’s para athletics Munster Games.
