Our 5th and 6th class boys had a fantastic day out at the FAI five aside soccer tournament in Cahir. Well done boys! You represented the school really well.  First and second class loved developing their Maths skills on our new I-Pads recently. Junior Infants up to 2nd class have been attending gymnastics lessons with Kool School this term. They have been learning different rolls, exploring balance and movement, making shapes with their bodies e.g. the basket and much more. Check out the photos below to see them in action! The infants learned about the sports shop in a playful way. For art they designed their own jerseys and football boots and then created a jersey using fabric pieces. At the role play area they acted out being a customer/shop assistant in the sports shop. For sensory play they explored what types of balls float or sink in water. They then used their playdough to create some of the items you can buy at the sports shop. |
