1st and 2nd Class visited the mayor Richie Molloy in the town hall today. We were treated to a mayor’s reception and learned all about the history of the building and the role of the mayor. What a great morning! 🎉 1st and 2nd had a super day in Cahir at their first hurling blitz. Well done Lisronagh 🎉 3rd & 4th Class using clay to create coil pots in their Art lesson. They used the cross hatching technique and made slip to attach each coil together. 🎨🤩👏 Gymnastics fun in 1st and 2nd Class: handstands, shoulder stands, balancing positions and forward rolls. 🤸🤸 We added some more playground equipment to our soft play area this week. A new playhouse and a sand table!! They are going down a treat 💖🎉. FAI 5 a side Soccer tournament for 4th to 6th class in Cahir today. Both teams did really well with one progressing to another day’s competition. 👏👏🎉 Junior and Senior Infants love playing maths games on our iPads during station teaching time to reinforce what they are learning in Maths. #topmarks #ictgames Thanks to Niall from MSD for doing the Junior Achievement programme with 1st and 2nd Class this year. They really enjoyed all the fun activities. The future is bright 🎉
