.Junior and Senior Infants had lots of fun last week preparing for Halloween. They learned two dances as part of our Active Flag activities, Ghostbusters and Monster Mash. They cast their own spells in drama. Made ghosts from clay and spiders from paper plates in art. They played bingo as Ghaeilge based on the theme Oiche Shamhna. They also learned some songs and poems for the Halloween recital. We hope their performance did not scare you all too much!!
All the classes enjoyed participating in Maths Week during October. Maths Week is all about having fun with maths. The children were encouraged to use their 'maths eyes' throughout the week. They played fun maths games, solved puzzles and did maths trails.
Our corridors are looking lovely and colourful at the moment with some beautiful autumn inspired artwork on display by each of the classes.
Junior and Senior Infants have been reinforcing their learning in Maths and Literacy stations this month. The children really enjoy learning in this 'hands on' approach.
