The Green-Schools Committee welcomed Green-Schools Travel Officer, Edwina Colman, who provided them with high visibility vests as they undertook a Walkability Audit in the vicinity of the school.
Junior and Senior infants have been learning about Africa over the past few weeks. During Aistear last week they played with safari animals in the small world area, for role play they worked in the 'African Market', they played some games with rules with Ms. Ryan. For art they painted safari animal silhouettes and they did guided drawing of Tutankhamun which they then painted. 🦓🦁🦒 Congratulations to our Green School slogan competition winners who were announced at our whole school assembly yesterday. This year we are focusing on the theme of travel. The overall winning slogan was "Leave the keys, take in the breeze". 🚴♀️🚴♂️🎉

A huge thank you to everybody who supported our Christmas Craft Fair in aid of St.Vincent De Paul, especially to the parents and children in 5th/6th class and 1st/2nd class who baked goods and made crafts. We raised 1,487 euro which was amazing! Well done to Mrs.Armstrong for organising the fundraiser. |
