Our School

Lisronagh N.S. is a mainstream, vertical, co-educational primary school, situated off the main Clonmel-Fethard road. Our school has four mainstream class teachers, as well as a based SEN teacher.

Each of the class teachers has a double class grouping, i.e. Junior and Senior Infants, First and Second Class, Third and Fourth Class, Fifth and Sixth Class. Our rural setting, along with our well-equipped modern classrooms, spacious grounds, and excellent teaching staff, ensures a happy, safe and inviting learning atmosphere for all.

OUR SCHOOL MOTTO IS

“Cherish to promote respect,
Challenge to achieve the best”

Spacious Airy
Class Rooms

Our modern, spacious, purpose-built classrooms ensure a comfortable, motivating work environment for our children.  The views of the old church and tower house, with the Comeragh mountains on one side and views of Slievenamon on the other, enhance the tranquillity and beauty of our location.  School displays, featuring the children’s work, greatly enhance the learning environment in the school.  These are regularly changed by our dedicated teaching staff, and are enjoyed by the children themselves and visitors to our school.
